My Story

I have always had a strong connection to theatre. From an early age I have grew up watching theatre shows and even being apart of them. I later found that being on stage was not for me, which highly effected me as I always had a dream of working in theatre and thought that was the only way. It was not until I discovered just how many jobs and opportunities there were backstage as well. I started experimenting with makeup which evolved into building skills within special effects makeup, leading me to find the college course of my dreams at BOA stage and screen in Birmingham. the course involved all ranges of backstage arts from costume to stage management and, of course, SFX makeup. As i developed more skills in college, I started finding myself falling into many stage management roles when having to work on shows. My love and passion for stage management grew quickly as did my skillset. And now here I am. Achieving my dreams and reaching new goals I did not expect to reach.
